1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over
the Beaufort-West and Prince Albert local municipalities
in the Western Cape, as well as the Kareeberg local
municipality in the Northern Cape.

Western Cape

Morning fog in places along the west and south and coast, otherwise fine and cool to cold but warm in places in the east. It will become partly cloudy from the afternoon but cloudy along the south-west coast in the evening with a chance of light rain.

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly to north-westerly but fresh to strong along the south-west coast, becoming light to moderate south-westerly along the south coast from the afternoon.

Mpumalanga

Partly cloudy in the Lowveld and escarpment areas, where morning fog patches are expected, otherwise fine and cool.

Limpopo

Morning fog and drizzle are expected over the escarpment and the eastern Lowveld, otherwise partly cloudy and cool, but fine in the central parts.

North-West Province

Fine, windy and cold to cool, becoming partly cloudy.

Free State

Fine and cold to cool. It will be windy over the central and western parts.

Western Half Of The Eastern Cape

Fine and warm. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate northerly to north-easterly.

Eastern Half Of The Eastern Cape

Fina and warm. The wind along the coast will be light to moderate north-easterly.

Kwazulu-Natal

Partly cloudy in the extreme north-east, otherwise fine and cool, but warm in places in the east.

The wind along the coast will be moderate north-westerly in the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh north-easterly.
