Warnings

Yellow level 2 warning: Severe thunderstorms resulting in localised damage
to infrastructure, settlements (informal), property, vehicles, livelihood
and livestock, as well as localised flooding of susceptible roads, low-lying
areas and bridges are expected over western and central parts of the North West,
extreme north-eastern parts of the Northern Cape as well as the north-western
parts of the Free State.

B. Yellow level 4 warning: Severe thunderstorm leading to flooding of
roads, settlements and low-lying areas, resulting in closure of some
bridges and roads, as well as loss of agricultural production are
expected over the western parts of the North West.

North West Province

Partly cloudy and warm in the extreme north-west where isolated showers are expected, otherwise cloudy and cool to cold with scattered showers and thundershowers.

Free State

Partly cloudy and warm in the south-west, otherwise cloudy and cool to cold. Isolated showers and thundershowers are expected BUT scattered north and east.

Northern Cape

Morning fog patches over the extreme southern parts where it will be cool in places, otherwise fine and warm to hot but partly cloudy with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in the north-east.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south to south-easterly but strong from the afternoon.

Western Half Of The Eastern Cape

Partly cloudy and cool but warm in places in the north where it will the fine. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly.

Eastern Half Of The Eastern Cape

Cloudy and cool with a chance of light rain along the coast and adjacent interior, north of East London. The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh north-easterly.
