1. Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over Kamiesberg local
municipality in the Northern Cape, places over the West Coast, Garden route and Cape
Winelands district municipalities in the Western Cape and the Blue Crane Route
municipality of the Eastern Cape.

Special weather advisories

1. Heat wave conditions with persistently high temperatures are expected over the
western parts of Namakwa district municipality in the Northern Cape, west, south-west
and northern parts of the Western Cape until Friday, as well as Koukamma local
municipality in the Eastern Cape until Friday (11-13/03/2026), but persisting until
Saturday in places over Sarah Baartman and Amathole district, King Sabata Dalindyebo
local municipality, Nelson Mandela Bay Metro and Buffalo City Metro in the Eastern
Cape.

2. Extremely hot and uncomfortable conditions are expected over the Namakwa district
municipality in the Northern Cape as well as in places in the Western Cape.
