Special weather advisories

A heat wave with persistently high temperatures are expected over the
western parts of Namakwa district, as well as west and south-western
parts of the Western Cape from Monday, spreading to the Little Karoo,
Central Karoo and western parts of the Garden Route districts from
Tuesday until Friday (09-13/03/2026).

Kwazulu-Natal

Morning fog over the interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm with isolated showers and rain, but scattered along the north coast. It will be cloudy in the east.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly north of Durban, otherwise light to moderate easterly to north-easterly.

Warm in the Lowveld, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with isolated showers and rain, except over the western Highveld. It will be cloudy in the east.

Limpopo

Cloudy and cool with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the north-east. It will be warm in places in the Lowveld and the Limpopo Valley.

Morning fog in the south, otherwise fine and warm to hot but very hot to extremely hot in places in the west. It will be cool in the south-east.

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly to south-easterly along the west coast in the morning, otherwise fresh to strong.

Eastern Half Of The Eastern Cape

Cloudy with fog patches in places over interior in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cool.
