1. A heat wave with persistently high temperatures is expected over the Richtersveld
municipality of the Northern Cape until Saturday.
2. An intense cold front is expected to affect the Western Cape and the Namakwa
District (Northern Cape) from Tuesday to Wednesday (20-21 May 2025).
The public and small stock farmers are advised that very cold conditions, heavy rainfall,
snowfalls, strong to gale force winds, and very rough seas can be expected.

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate south to south-easterly along the west coast, otherwise south-westerly becoming moderate to fresh easterly from the afternoon, but fresh to strong south of Cape Point.
