in places over Chris Hani, Joe Gqabi and northern parts
of Alfred Nzo Districts Municipalities in the Eastern Cape
until Wednesday (02-04 February 2026)
2. Extremely uncomfortable and humid conditions will be
experienced over the eastern parts of Kwa-Zulu Natal.
3. Extremely hot conditions are expected in places over
Beaufort West and Prince Albert Local Municipalities in
the Western Cape.

Kwazulu-Natal
Morning fog patches over the interior, otherwise fine and hot to very hot. It will become partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered in the north-west.
The wind along the coast will be light to moderate easterly to north-easterly, becoming fresh north of Durban in the afternoon.

North-West Province
Fine, becoming partly cloudy and hot with isolated showers and thundershowers but scattered over the extreme east. No rainfall expected in the extreme south-west.

Fine, becoming partly cloudy and warm to hot with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers in the east.
Northern Cape

Western Half Of The Eastern Cape
Cloudy in places in the south at first, otherwise fine and hot to very hot, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon with isolated thundershowers in the north. It will warm in places along the coast.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh easterly to south-easterly.
