1. Very hot to extremely hot and uncomfortable
conditions are expected over the Kamiesberg Local
Municipality in the Northern Cape as well as the
West coast, Cape Winelands, Central Karoo and
Garden Route District Municipalities, and the
Drakenstein Local Municipality in the Western
Cape.

Morning and evening fog patches over the interior, otherwise cloudy and cool with isolated afternoon showers and thundershowers. It will be warm in places in the north.

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-easterly, becoming light to moderate northerly to north-easterly in the south from late morning, spreading northwards from the afternoon.

North-West Province

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly.

Western Cape

Fine and warm to hot but very hot to extremely hot in places over the interior.

The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong easterly along the south coast, otherwise fresh to strong southerly to south-easterly, reaching near gale force along the south-west coast in the early morning.

Fog patches in the south-east in the morning, otherwise fine and warm to hot, but very hot in places over the interior.

Eastern Half Of The Eastern Cape

Cloudy with fog in places and a chance of light rain in the south-east in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy and cool with isolated afternoon thundershowers in the north-east.

The wind along the coast will be light and variably at first, otherwise moderate to fresh easterly, becoming north-easterly in the afternoon.
