downpours leading to flooding of susceptible roads,
settlements and low-lying, bridges/areas, excessive
lightning and large amounts of small hail over Gauteng,
eastern part of Free State, southern part of Limpopo,
in places over North West, Highveld and Escarpment of
Mpumalanga.

Free State

Fine and warm to hot, becoming partly cloudy with isolated to scattered showers and thundershowers except over the extreme western parts.

Western Cape

Cloudy with fog along the west coast but cool with light rain along the south coast in the morning, otherwise fine and warm to hot.

The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh southerly to south-easterly, but strong along the south-west coast.

Cloudy and cool, with isolated showers of rain but scattered along the coast. It will become partly cloudy and warm in the north.

Kwazulu-Natal

Morning fog over the central and western interior, otherwise partly cloudy and cool to warm, becoming cloudy from the afternoon with scattered showers and thundershowers.

The wind along the coast will be light to moderate southerly to south-westerly, but easterly to north-easterly in the south, becoming south-easterly from midday.
